Swirlhood: Seattle based indie/folk duo Swirlhood is the shared universe of songwriters Bethany Gray and Madeline Privott. Wander into a world that sees the common as commendable. Where ripples of milky guitar and pointed melodies spill from old wounds. A bedroom pop + midwest emo merger where the lyrical fortitude, textured voices and playful choreography provide a glimpse into the unknown world of Swirlhood.

Lilly Miller: “Miller’s guitar is warm and inviting, and frankly, alongside her gorgeous and captivating voice, the two gave me goosebumps. From my ears, I’m hearing echoes of Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez with the lonely melodic tones of Nick Drake. Although ‘The Fool’ is a short four-song recording, it engulfs the ears with rich tenderness and deep feelings. A beautiful debut.”
Dream of Time: Dream of Time is underwater music. At times ethereal and sunlit, others deep and sprawling, the project blends elements of shoegaze and folk to create dreamscapes through sound.

Corsicana: “Corsicana’s songs are soaring and magnetic. Bird bones aren’t actually hollow, they are interwoven with pockets for air to flow through as an extension of the lungs. Language in Ben’s music are those pockets of breath carrying us higher and higher, allowing us to take flight. And in the glide, there is pensiveness and longing. There is introspection and flagellation. There are mantras and the ways they don’t work. The realization that you must become your own person after allowing yourself to be defined by others. Corsicana has become an established artist in the Colorado music scene since their debut in 2014, having opened for acts such as Devotchka, Hippo Campus, Deep Sea Diver, Let’s Eat Grandma, & Wye Oak, among others. They have toured the West Coast, Midwest, and Canada, and Corsicana’s third full-length, Kept, is out now.
